Embroidery Artwork Preparation & Logo Cleanup

Embroidery begins with artwork, but the finished result depends on stitch planning as well as the source image. We help rebuild and simplify unsuitable customer logos into cleaner artwork that an embroidery digitizer can evaluate and use. Need a stitch file as well? Embroidery digitizing is a separate service we also offer.

What this service covers

Artwork that respects physical stitching

Tiny lettering, fine gaps, gradients, and delicate outlines may not translate well at small stitch sizes. We can identify areas that may need simplification and produce an agreed visual artwork version for the target application.

Vector art is not a stitch file

An AI, EPS, or SVG file is not the same as DST, PES, or other machine embroidery formats. Embroidery digitizing is a separate service we also offer: if you need a stitch file, ask for digitizing in your quote request and tell us your machine or required format, so it is quoted and validated for that setup.

Common embroidery-related artwork requests

We prepare artwork references for uniforms, caps, patches, workwear, bags, and branded apparel. Send the placement, approximate dimensions, garment type, and the stitch format your digitizer or machine needs.

A more dependable handoff

We aim to give the next production specialist a clearer source file and a defined set of artwork decisions, rather than guessing at stitch behavior.

FAQ

Embroidery Artwork Preparation: Common Questions

Straight answers before you upload. More questions are answered on the full FAQ page.

Do you deliver DST or PES files?

Yes, through our separate embroidery digitizing service. DST, PES and similar stitch files are not standard vectors, so tell us you need digitizing, plus your machine or file format, stitch size and fabric, when you request a quote.

Can any logo be embroidered exactly?

No. Very fine details may require adaptation depending on size, fabric, and stitch method.

What information should I send?

Share the logo, target stitch size, garment or patch material, and your digitizer’s requirements.

Have Artwork That Needs Professional Attention?

Send us the file, explain the intended use and tell us your deadline. We’ll review the scope and provide next steps.

No obligation. Your files are used only to review and quote your project.
